Eight killed in Pakistan drone attack

In Pakistan, at least eight people were killed in a drone strike today in the troubled South Waziristan tribal belt. Sources said an unmanned drone fired two missiles at a house in Karikot area near Wanba bordering Afghanistan killing eight people. The area is under the control of Taliban group, led by Mulla Nazir. Locals said that the Taliban militants surrounded the attack site and removed bodies and injured to undisclosed location. This strike was the 219th drone attack since August 2008 in the restive tribal areas of Pakistan.
