In Andhra Pradesh, at least eight persons were killed died and eight more injured in a train mishap near Gotlam in Vizianagaram district on Saturday evening.

The accident occurred, when some passengers rushed down from the Alappi-Dhanbad Bokaro Express following rumours that the train caught fire but came down under another passenger train.

The passenger train Raigadha-Vijiayawada was coming on the other track, which they did not see. Relief Teams and ambulances have been rushed to the site from Vizianagaram.
