In Assam, eight persons died and as many as 20 others were injured when a Tinsukia-bound night service bus collided head-on with a coal-loading truck at Badulipara, near Dergaon on the National Highway No.37 in Golaghat district in the wee hours today. Six persons died on the spot while two others succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital. The injured have been admitted to various hospitals in Golaghat, Bokakhat and Jorhat. <br/>
