In Uttar Pradesh, eight persons died after consuming spurious liquor in Mirzapur district today. The people of four villages had consumed the illicit liquor last night. AIR correspondent quoting official sources reports that 14 people have been admitted to the district hospital where the condition of five of them is said to be serious. The police is investigating the case.
