<br/>In China, eight primary school children have been stabbed to death and five others injured in a knife attack in Fujian province. A statement said the injured children have been admitted to a hospital and are in a stable condition. It added that the police have detained a former community clinic doctor in connection with the attack. He is said to be mentally unsound. The school has been temporarily closed.
