<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary has informed that eight cases concerning cryptocurrency-related fraud are under investigation by the Directorate of Enforcement. He said, however, as Police and Public Order are State Subjects, the States and Union Territories are primarily responsible for the prevention, detection, investigation and prosecution of such crimes including financial frauds their Law Enforcement Agencies. Mr Chaudhary said this in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha. He also informed that a Bill on Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency has been included for introduction in the Lok Sabha during the Winter Session of Parliament.</span><br />
