Eight AC coaches of Nagpur-Mumbai Duronto Express derail near Titwala station in Thane

At least eight AC coaches and the engine of Nagpur Mumbai Duronto Express, Train no 12290 derailed near Titwala station in Maharashtra's Thane district today morning. According to Central Railway officials, no injuries were reported.<br/><br/>Speaking to AIR correspondent, Railway spokesperson informed no passengers are on site now. All passengers have been sent to their respective destinations in buses and taxis. The Kasara and Asangaon suburban trains are running upto Titwala only. <br/><br/>Many long distance trains including CSMT-HSNanded Tapovan Exp have been diverted. The CSMT-Howrah Gitanjali Express, was diverted via Kalyan-Karjat-Pune-Daund-Manmad route. Few Short distance trains were terminated at Igatpuri and Manmad-LTT Express was canceled. Amravati-Mumbai Express, Nagpur-Mumbai Vidharbh and Sevagram Express and other trains arriving to Mumbai via Kasara have also been affected.
