<span style="color: #222222;">In Telangana state, calm and quite Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the state marking the end of month-long fastings during Ramadan. Most of the Muslims offered special prayers ending their fasting at their homes in view of the COVID-19 lockdown.  Special Prayers have been held at some of the mosques this morning but with small group of worshippers.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, the spirit of Eid ul Fitr could not be restrained despite the celebrations broadly confined to prayers across Telangana. With the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions in force, most of the namazees preferred to offer prayers at home either individually or in small groups with family members. However, the usual fervor of Eid celebrations like hugging each other for greeting after Namaze-e-eid has been missing this time. Among other celebrations that are missing is the Ramzan Thofa that the state government usually distributes among the poor muslims.  <br />'' <br />'' The state government has been distributing Ramzan Thofa every year for the Eid-ul-Fitr, since 2015 and this time it was decided not to conduct the programme due to social distancing norms. Eidghahs and Masjids have been empty on the day of Eid, after about 100 years in Hyderabad. Religious leaders and elders among the Namazees have recalled that prayers were offered from home when Hyderabad witnessed Moosi River floods in the year 1908.</span> <br />
