Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the country today. President Pranab Mukherjee,Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have greeted the nation on the occasion.

In his message, Mr Mukherjee hoped that the festival will reinforce the nation's commitment to mutual harmony and radiate the message of India's composite culture to the whole world.

The Vice President Mr. Ansari hoped that the occasion will bring peace, prosperity and harmony in the lives of people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, tweeted that may this auspicious day strengthen the bond of peace, unity and brotherhood across our Nation.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh also extended his warm greetings to the nation on the occasion.
