Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad is being celebrated with religious fervour in various parts of the country on Saturday. <br/><br/>"Milad Mehfils"and "Seerat Conferences" will be held highlighting the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. Milad processions are also being organised to mark the occasion. <br/><br/>In Delhi, the main procession will be taken out in walled city, which will culminate at Jama Masjid after passing through the traditional route.<br/><br/>President, Vice President and Prime Minister have greeted people on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi. <br/><br/>In his message, President Ram Nath Kovind extended his greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens, especially Muslim brothers and sisters in India and abroad. <br/><br/>Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said the teachings of Prophet Mohammad will continue to spread the message of peace and happiness.<br/><br/>In his message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, may the teachings of Prophet Mohammad further the spirit of harmony in our society. <br/><br/>Milad-un-Nabi marks the birthday of Prophet Mohammad and is commemorated in the third month in the Islamic calendar.
