Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad is being celebrated with religious fervour in various parts of the country on Saturday. <br/><br/>"Milad Mehfils"and "Seerat Conferences" will be held highlighting the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. Milad processions are also being organised to mark the occasion. <br/><br/>In Delhi, the main procession will be taken out in walled city, which will culminate at Jama Masjid after passing through the traditional route.<br/><br/>President Ram Nath Kovind has extended his greetings and good wishes on the eve of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet. <br/><br/>In his message, the President said, he offers greetings and good wishes to all his fellow citizens, especially Muslim brothers and sisters in India and abroad.<br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted people on the Id-E-Milad today. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, may the teachings of Prophet Mohammad further the spirit of harmony in our society.
