Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad was celebrated with religious fervour and due reverence across the country today. "Milad Mehfils" and "Seerat Conferences" were held where Ulemas or religious scholars highlighted the life and teachings of Hazrat Muhammad. <br/><br/>Milad processions were also organised to mark the occasion. In Delhi, the main procession was taken out in walled city, which culminated at Jama Masjid after passing through the traditional route.
