Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak today held a summit meeting with visiting Turkish President Abdullah Gul on the Middle East peace process. The two leaders also discussed other regional and international issues of common concern.Mubarak briefed Gul on the Egyptian efforts to push forward the Middle East peace process and the recent developments of the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks. President Mubarak also set out details of Egyptian efforts to President Gul to help the Palestinian factions to hammer out a reconciliation agreement. The two leaders also discussed means to promote bilateral cooperation in various economic, trade and investment domains. Gul arrived in Cairo last night and was to leave Egypt later today.
