Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is now on his way back home following successful surgery in Germany. The official Mena news agency said Government officials and military leaders will greet Mr Mubarak on his return to Sharm el-Sheikh. <br/><br/>Mr. Mubarak, 81, underwent surgery on 6 March to remove his gall bladder and a growth from his small intestine. He has been recuperating in Germany following the operation at Heidelberg University Hospital. <br/><br/>Government-run mosques across Egypt offered prayers for Mr Mubarak's recovery. Mr Mubarak has been in power for 29 years and his fifth six-year term ends in 2011.
