In Egypt, as talks are underway between country’s Vice President and opposition figures including banned Muslim Brotherhood, large number of people ate still at Tahrir square demanding resignation of President Hosni Mubarak. Banks have opened today and traffic on the main roads of the Cairo returned to almost normal.Earlier, the politburo of Egypt's ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) resigned en masse including son of President Hosni Mubarak, Jamal Mubarak. Ruling party's six-member Steering Committee of the General Secretariat stepped down and was replaced. The council was the party's highest decision-making body. Hossam Badrawi took over as NDP secretary general and political bureau chief who is reputed to have good relations with opposition figures. Meanwhile the army stepped up pressure on the protesters who have occupied central Cairo's Tahrir Square to leave the area.Muslim brotherhood has announced that its aim of taking part in talks is the exit of President Mubarak. Opposition leader Mohammad Al Bardei has once again demanded the resignation of President Mubarak.
