Egypt has shown interest in signing a double taxation avoidance agreement with India. Ambassador of Egypt to India Hatem Tageldin said in Kolkata today that Egypt is looking forward to sign the Double Taxation Agreement with India. He was addressing an Interactive Session on 'India-Egypt Economic Bilateral Relations and Trade, Services & Investment Opportunities' organised by MCC Chamber of Commerce & Industry. <br/><br/>Mr. Tageldin emphasized that there are many high potential sectors in Egypt which Indian investors can explore. These include textiles, ICT, renewable energy-mainly wind and solar, finance, logistics, tourism, agriculture, medical tourism, retail business, construction and education, he said.
