In Egypt, security forces have killed 14 terrorists in an encounter in the country's northeast, a day after 23 Army personnel were killed in a militant attack in the restive North Sinai region.<br/><br/>The Interior ministry said in a statement that the security forces raided a training camp organised by terrorists for new recruits in Ismailia city which is situated in north-eastern Egypt, where new recruits were being given physical training and lessons in use of weapons. <br/>'<br/>On Saturday, at least 23 Egyptian soldiers were killed and another 26 injured when suicide car bombs tore through two military checkpoints in North Sinai. <br/><br/>Security sources said, the two cars blew up at two checkpoints outside of a military compound just south of Rafah, on the border with the Gaza Strip. <br/><br/>The attack is the most severe in Sinai since at least July 2015, when Islamic State militants assaulted simultaneously a slew of checkpoints and military sites around North Sinai.
