State media say six strikes hit the town of Derna in neighbouring Libya. <br/><br/>Masked gunmen yesterday attacked a bus and other vehicles taking a group of Coptic Christians to Anba Samuel monastery in the Minya Governorate, 250km south of Cairo, killing at least 28 people and wounding 25 others. <br/><br/>Although no group immediately said it was behind the attack, Islamic State terrorists have targeted Copts several times in recent months.<br/><br/>The Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin sent a telegram to Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Sisi, where he conveys Pope Francis's solidarity with all those people who were affected by the shameful violence.<br/>
