Egypt is gearing up to celebrate the third International Day of Yoga. Several events are lined up across the country to mark the day on 21st of this month. <br/><br/>The Indian Embassy in collaboration with Egyptian government has organised several programmes to celebrate the UN International Day of Yoga. <br/><br/>India's Ambassador to Cairo, Sanjay Bhattacharyya said, the message of yoga is peace and harmony and how it promotes the universal sense of camaraderie of friendship. He said the time is very special as there is a strong connection between the spirit of yoga and the spirit of Ramazan. <br/><br/>He said, the celebrations will also expand to Alexandria and Ismailia, in addition to capital Cairo. The celebration in Cairo will be in the Baron Empain Palace, also known as El Palais Hindou. <br/><br/>It is a distinctive historic Indian-inspired mansion in Heliopolis, a suburb northeast of central Cairo. <br/>
