Egypt agree to send back two Indian prisoners

Egypt has agreed to send back the two Indian prisoners who are in jails there.<br/><br/>External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, during his bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of India Africa Form Summit told Mr Modi that Egypt will extradite two long term Indian prisoners.<br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi Friday evening, Mr Swarup said, the prisoners had been in prison for 22 and 16 years and New Delhi had sought their return under Transfer of Sentenced Persons Agreement in December 2014.
