<span style="color: #222222;">Advisor to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, KK Sharma has said that concerted efforts are underway to develop Patnitop as a world-class tourist destination so that it comes on the international tourist map. He was interacting with officers during his visit to Patnitop hill-station. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Sharma, while undertaking a review meeting of various developmental works being undertaken for the development of this tourist spot, directed the fast-pacing of these projects. He said that the officers should ensure the timely completion of the various initiatives being taken for development of tourist infra as tourism is the mainstay of our economy and also generator of employment opportunities. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Advisor directed Director Tourism to regularly monitor the implementation of various initiatives for development of tourist circuit in Patnitop and other areas of Jammu division especially those being undertaken under Prime Minister's Development Package (PMDP). He also inspected facilities being provided to the tourists who come to visit the hill-station and the functioning of Patnitop Cable Car which has been commissioned some six months back.</span><br />
