Efforts on to seek safe release of Kulbhushan Jadhav: India

India today said efforts are on to seek safe release of Kulbhushan Jadhav, who has been sentenced to death by a military court in Pakistan. New Delhi has also sought a certificate from Pakistan on his health condition.<br/><br/>Replying to a media query in New Delhi this evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay said India is concerned about the well being and health of Jadhav. A former Indian Navy officer, Mr Jadhav, has been in Pakistan's custody for more than a year on charges of espionage.<br/><br/>Mr Baglay hoped that parents of Jadhav will be given visas to meet him. In reply to another query, Mr Baglay said Pakistan has not shared any details of trail proceedings. India so far has made 16 requests for consular access for Jadhav.
