External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today said the government is making all efforts to secure the release of a Kerala priest, believed to be in captivity of terror group Islamic State.<br/><br/>Mrs. Swaraj's tweet referred to Father Tom Uzhunnallil who was abducted by militants in their raid over an old age home in Aden city of Yemen, on the 4th of this month.<br/><br/>In the gunfire, 16 people, including five nuns from Missionaries of Charity, had been killed. One of the nun was from India.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Kerala Government is closely monitoring the situation arising out of the abduction of priest Tom Uzhunnalil from Yemen by terrorists.<br/><br/>Chief Minister's office told that it is in touch with the Ministry of External Affairs and people concerned in Yemen and other countries.
