Massive efforts are on to control the fire in Indian Navy Warship Vindhyagiri at the Mumbai Naval dockyard. At the same time Defence Ministry officials are in consultation in New Delhi at this moment to coordinate the effort. A Navy spokesperson said in New Delhi that INS Vindhyagiri was brought to the naval dockyard for assessing the damage after she collided with the container vessel MV Nordlake last evening off Mumbai Harbour. According to official sources, no casualty has been reported so far. Details are awaited.
