India today said efforts are on to resolve the ongoing stand-off between New Delhi and Beijing over Doklam issue through diplomatic channels. <br/><br/>External Affairs Ministry spokesman Gopal Baglay said New Delhi always favours peaceful resolution of border disputes. Briefing media in New Delhi, Mr Baglay said diplomatic communication is intact between the two countries. <br/><br/>He said, it has already been made it clear that the differences between India and China should not turn into disputes. <br/><br/>In reply to a query, Mr Baglay informed that National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will be visiting China on the 27th of this month to attend BRICS meeting. <br/><br/>Asked about the US State Department Report on Terrorism in which it has criticised Pakistan for provind safe havens to terrorists and not taking any significant action against Lashkar e-Tayyiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, Mr Baglay said undoubtedly Pakistan is providing safe havens to terrorists. <br/><br/>He said, India is committed to fight against cross border terrorism emanating from Pakistani soil. He said international community is with India in tackling cross border terrorism.
