In West Bengal 17 persons are still missing after Sunday's boat capsize on Rupnarayan river near Kolagat in East Midnapur district. The State chief secretary Mr Ashoke Mohan Chakrobarty told in Kolkata on Monday that efforts are on to find out missing persons. Divers of coast guard, Kolkata Port Trust and state agencies have been engaged for this purpose. MrChakrobarty said that district administrations have been instructed to control carrying extra rush of passengers on countrymade boats to avert accident.<br/><br/>As alredy reported the boat was capsized while carry a picnic party who are residents of North Kolkata.<br/>Meanwhile, relatives of the missing persons staged road blocked at Shyambazar in North Kolkata this afternoon condemning state Government’s negligence in rescue operations.
