Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh today said efforts are underway to bring in a single Marketing policy across the country. He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for Dr Konada Lakshma Bapuji Telangana Horticulture University at Mulugu in Medak district of Telangana state. Stating that E-Marketing programme will benefit farmers, he said the middleman system should be dropped completely across the state.<br/><br/>Recalling the pro-active measures taken up by the central government for Agriculture sector during the past one year, the Minister said the Country will be prosperous only when farmers are wealthy. Foundation Stone was also laid for the Institute of Excellence in Horticulture and the Forest College, as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
