In Uttarakhand, effort to douse the forest fire is continuing on large scale. <br/><br/>Around 1600 incidents of forest fires across Uttarakhand hills have so far engulfed 3466 hectare area and killed four people, including a policeman. <br/><br/>The jungle fire in the state is being controlled by Air Force, NDRF, SDRF and district administration jointly on a priority basis. <br/><br/>A team of officials from Central Government along with officials of State Government are visiting the affected areas to review the situation. <br/><br/>The DG police, through video conferencing has directed all police officers and jawans to provide all sort of assistance to douse the fire. <br/><br/>The DGP has also directed to take stringent action against those who are responsible for causing forest fire intentionally. <br/><br/>A police case has also been registered against 47 persons for causing fire while three persons have been arrested.
