President Pranab Mukherjee has said that educational institutions should help to create scientific temper and attitude among students. <br/><br/>Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Sesquicentennial Celebrations of Bishop Cotton Boy's School in Bengaluru today, he said that the educational system should strive to eradicate the menace of superstitions and the institutions should help in the process. The President also said that national interest should be of prime interest in the system.<br/><br/>Karnataka Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramiah said that the Garden City Bengaluru is not merely the Information Technology Capital of India, but it is now termed as the Knowledge Capital of Asia. <br/><br/>State Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala, Dr G. Parameshwara, Minister of State for Home, Dr G. Dyvasirvadam, Moderator, Church of South India, Dr P. K. Samuel, Bishop, Karnataka Central Diocese, Prof John K Zachariah, Principal, Bishop Cotton Boys' School etc. were also present on the occasion.
