President Ram Nath Kovind today has said the success of the Constitution depends not only on its provisions but also on people and political parties to a great extent. Addressing international Ambedkar conclave in New Delhi, Mr Kovind said Babasaheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar had worked to promote education in the country. <br/><br/>The President said problems being faced by people of SC and ST communities should be listened to. The President said the state should work for the social and educational uplift of SCs/STs women and farmers as provided under directive principles of state policy in the Constitution. <br/><br/>He said most of these people are not aware of their Constitutional rights. Quoting Ambedkar, Mr Kovind said, educational institutions are as much important as politics for the progress of any society.
