In Pakistan, authorities across the country on Tuesday ordered the closure of educational institutions after two suicide bombers struck the International Islamic University in Islamabad, killing five persons. The government of Punjab, Pakistan's most populous province, ordered the closure of all state-run and private educational institutions for an indefinite period. In Peshawar, the North West Frontier Province government also announced the closure of all educational institutions from Wednesday till October 25.
