Education Minister Highlights India's Ancient Knowledge at ICCR Event

<span style="color: #222222;">Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said that India sowed the seeds of inclusive government ages before the modern era. Addressing the Knowledge India Visitors Programme</span><span style="color: #202124;">&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #222222;">by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in New Delhi, Dharmendra Pradhan said that the country’s ancient knowledge is a vast and diverse treasure trove spanning across fields including philosophy, mathematics, astronomy, medicine and literature. He said, several scientific and architectural marvels including invention of zero, decimal system and the fine structures of Khajuraho Temple serves as a testament to India’s rich heritage. Mr. Pradhan called on foreign institutes to study about India’s emerging aspirations and its modern market. The Minister said that India’s economic strength is the engine for global economic growth.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">Talking about the significance of National Education Policy, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan said that several initiatives under the policy are being taken to promote and revitalize India’s knowledge system. He said that these initiatives aim to address the contemporary challenges and create a sustainable and equitable world.</span><br />
