Dr. Samanta detailed his story of rising from poverty and journey from Rs 5000 seed capital to Rs 10000 Crore enterprise is a testament to his perseverance and belief in the power of education, he was also vocal of his own spartan lifestyle and how that way of life created sustainability of his institutions.<br />”<br />”Achyuta Samanta is the founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), which provide free education, food, accommodation, healthcare and vocational training to over 30,000 tribal children from 62 indigenous communities in Odisha, India. He has also initiated several other projects in the fields of healthcare, rural development, art, culture, literature, film, media and national integration. In addition to his work at KIIT, Dr. Samanta has also been actively involved in various philanthropic initiatives aimed at promoting education and social development. He has established several schools and colleges in rural areas, providing access to quality education for underprivileged children. The university also offers a range of online courses and programs that provide students with the flexibility to learn at their own pace and from anywhere in the world. Samanta has received numerous awards and recognitions for his outstanding contributions to social transformation.<br />”<br />”He was conferred with the ‘Change Maker Award’ by The New Indian Express Group in 2019, for his relentless efforts in improving the condition of the society and the indigenous community.
