Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized 2 crore 18 lakh rupees in Chandigarh. Official sources said, the money has been seized in an operation to check hawala trade after demonetization. <br/><br/>ED has raided premises of a trader by getting a tip of currency there. Officials confirmed that out of the seized currency, 18 lakh rupees are in new currency. The officials said action has been taken under the provisions FEMA.
