<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today conducted three raids at the residence of Sagar Bhatewar from Shivaji Nagar, Sammit Izak from New Colony and Johar Qadri from Jarfer Nagar, Nagpur who are close associates of former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in Nagpur.&nbsp;<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Sagar Bhatewar, associates and business partner of Anil Deshmukh, has been charged with attempting to obtain undue advantage for improper and dishonest performance of public duty in the year 2020-21 by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Bhatewar had been in touch with Anil Deshmukh for the past few days, which is why the ED raided Bhatewar's house, sources said.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Sources further said, three associates of Deshmukh came under ED radar after their bank transactions had linked them to the NCP leader and his family members. The ED has intensified its investigations In relation to the accusations made by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh against Deshmukh.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Earlier, the CBI had also carried out raids at 10-different-locations including Nagpur, Katol and Mumbai on 24th of April. In the month of March, Singh had claimed that Deshmukh had asked Mumbai Police personnel to extort Rs 100 crore from bars and restaurants. Singh had also filed a criminal public interest litigation, in this regard following which the Bombay High Court handed over the case to the CBI and asked it to conduct a probe.</span><br />''&nbsp;<br />
