Enforcement Directorate, ED, has issued a Look Out Circular againstformer IPL chairman Lalit Modi at all entry points and airports in thecountry in connection with its probe into alleged misappropriation offunds in the Twent-20 cricket tournament. The circular empowers policeand other enforcement agencies at these check points to detain theindividual who has been flagged and immediately inform the issuingagency, ED in this case about the detention.The ED has also initiated the process of revoking his passport and isexamining the FIR filed by the Cricket Board against him for allegedmisappropriation of funds to the tune of 470 crore rupees. Modi,however, has said that he has always cooperated with the ED and isready to appear before the agency personally in London or throughvideo conferencing.
