Government says that Indian Economy will grow beyond 7.2 per cent in the current fiscal. It has been projective at 7.5 per cent in the mid term review and the plan panel is of the view that it may touch 7.9 per cent.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters after inaugurating the 42nd Consultative Committee meeting of Colombo Plan in New Delhi on Wednesday, the Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee said that the growth will be higher after the final figures are available.<br/><br/>Addressing the inaugural session of the meeting, the Minister said that the growth is expected to be on the higher pedestal in the third quarter.<br/><br/>He asserted that the government will keep this momentum going by infusing and sustaining large investment infrastructure in a environmentally sustainable manner.<br/><br/>This he said requires follow up capital and institutional building.<br/><br/>He also said that for realizing the objectives of inclusive growth government has to work out towards strengthening the social welfare net and upgrading skills of our work force.<br/>
