The Economic Survey has evoked mixed response from the Industry and Business chambers.The FICCI president Siddharth Birla said that the survey has presented a balanced picture for the year ahead and also identified crirtical areas to deal with economic crises.Director General of Confederation of Indian Industries , Chandrajit Banerjee feels that tax reforms should be taken care of for ease of doing business . The Chairman of Federation of Indian Export Organisation, R.K. Dhawan wants the government to encourage manufaturing activities to reduce the trade deficit.
