Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left for Toronto G-20 summit this morning after an overnight stay in Frankfurt, Germany. Top official sources said in Toronto, New Delhi will voice its concern at the summit on the need to address the imbalances in economic growth across regions and also oppose the proposal to tax the Banking sector. India—a leading force along with China spearheading the economic recovery—advocates against measures that could upset the fragile and uneven economic recovery process. <br/>Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that New Delhi will highlight the importance of development issues in the future work of the G-20. <br/>Singh said to meet the ambitious Indian growth targets it is necessary that the world economy continues to recover in a stable and predictable manner. AIR correspondent reports the high-level delegation led by Singh will project New Delhi's expectations at the Summit in accordance to the economic growth prospects India seeks from the global economic and financial systems.<br/>
