A high level team of Election Commission, headed by Deputy Election Commissioner Sudeep Jain is on their second-day visit to Mizoram on Saturday. The team after reaching Aizawl yesterday afternoon held meetings with different stakeholders including election department officials, leaders of NGO Coordination Committee and Churches. <br />''  <br />'' The Election Commission team will visit Champhai district today and hold meeting with district election officials to review poll preparedness. Other members of the EC team were L. Khiangte, CEO, Jharkhand, and SB Joshi, Secretary, ECI.<br />''  <br />'' Meanwhile, filing of nominations for assembly elections ended on friday. Our correspondent has reported that on the last date of filling nominations, maximum number of nominations have been filed yesterday. Alongside, Campaigning by parties has also picked up throughout the state. All major parties organised several rallies in different parts of Mizoram.<br />''  <br />'' Till yesterday, 210 candidates from various parties filed nominations. The election officials said the exact figure of nominations filed, could be given today.<br />''  <br />'' Top leaders of all major parties such as Chief Minister and state Congress President Lal Thanhawla, BJP President J. V. Hluna, MNF President Zoramthanga, and Lalduhoma, President of the Zoram Peoples Movement have filed their nominations.<br />''  <br />'' <br />
