A team from the Election Commission of India held a review meeting on poll preparedness for the upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. The review meeting was organized at capital Raipur on June 8 and 9. District Electoral Officers and Superintendents of Police of all the districts of the state were present in the meeting.<br />''  <br />'' The team of the Election Commission included senior Deputy Election Commissioner Dharmendra Sharma and Nitesh Kumar Vyas and other senior officers of the commission. During the meeting, the Election Commission team asked the state officials to ensure strict compliance with the guidelines of the commission for conducting free and fair elections. They directed the state officials to start the first phase of testing of electronic voting machines. The team reviewed electoral roll updation and directed the state officials to prepare error-free electoral rolls and make sure that the names of the genuine voters are not d for any reason.<br />''
