The Election Commission of India has censured Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmaana Prasada Rao for his religious remarks made during the bye election campaigning. The Commission has sent a letter censuring him this evening. State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal told media in Hyderabad that the Commission has found the reply given by the Minister to its earlier notices unconvincing. The Minister made the religious remarks at a meeting held at Ramachandrapuram in East-Godavari District on 7th of last month. Meanwhile, the campaigning for the Bye elections has reached its peak as only two days left for campaigning. The Bye-poll will be held on 12th of this month.
