The Election Commission of India, ECI has announced the fresh date of two vacant seats of Rajya Sabha in Jharkhand. According to a release issued by the ECI, the Biennial election to the Council of State from Jharhand will be held on 3rd of next month and counting will take place on the same day. The notification to this effect will be issued on 16th of this month and the last day of making nominations will be 23rd of this moth.The earlier notification issued on 12th of March for holding biennial election to fill the two vacancies of state, was rescinded by Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil on 31th of March following a recommendation by the Commission over allegation the use of money power in the state during the poll.
