With questions being raised again on the issue of vulnerability to tampering of the Electronic Voting Machines, EVMs, the Election Commissionwill soon convene a meeting of political parties to discuss various issues including that of EVMs. Chief Election Commissioner S Y Quraishi told reporters in New Delhi there are other issues like money power and paid news. On the demand of some political parties for ballot paper- backup, the CEC said that the issue would also be on the agenda of the meeting. Mr Quraishi said that the issue of paid news should also beviewed in the context of money power.
