The Election Commission of India will hold a two-day zonal conference on "Innovative Management of Election" for the North Eastern States including Sikkim in Guwahati from tomorrow. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in Guweahati today, Director General, Information, Education and Communication, Election Commission of India Akshay Rout informed that as a part of the conference a symposium and a diamond jubilee photo exhibition will also be organised. <br/><br/>The conference will discuss issues such as Management of Electoral role, photo identity card, voters participation and other matters relating to voters. The Director General said as Assam is heading for assembly elections in next year, election peparedness of the state would also be discussed.
