Election Commission will hold bye elections to fill up two casual vacancies in the Rajya Sabha from Manipur and Odisha. <br/><br/>The vacancy from Manipur was caused due to death of Haji Abdul Salam and Odisha due to resignation of Bishnu Charan Das. Nomination will begin from 8th May with15th last date of filing nominations. <br/><br/>Scrutiny of nominations will take place on 16th of May and last date for withdrawal of candidature will be 18th May. Polling will be held on 25th May and counting will take place on the same day.
