West Bengal Election Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting with the state administration tomorrow to finalize preparations for the elections to two municipal corporations-Kolkata and Howrah. The State Election Commissioner will be interacting with the Chief Secretary and Home Secretary. The DGP and the Health Secretary are also scheduled to attend the meeting. <br />'' <br />'' According to sources, apart from the administrative details, issues like COVID management, law and order situation are also on the list of discussion. The commission held a meeting with the administrative officials of the two cities today. Municipal Commissioners of Kolkata and Howrah, DMs and SPs of South 24 Parganas and Howrah and officials of Kolkata Police attended the meeting.
