In UP, the intense campaigning today continued in the areas of first three phases of state assembly election. The nomination process also continued for the fourth and fifth phases. Tomorrow is the last date for filing nomination for fourth phase while the papers for fifth phase can be filed upto 4th February. The notification for 6th phase will be issued on Thursday. Meanwhile, BJP stalwart Sushma Swaraj, Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, and BSP leader Satish Mishra addressed several rallies in various areas. Congress today released its manifesto simultaneously from ten districts of the state. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has decided to appoint a Voter Awareness Observer at each divisional headquarter in the state. These observers, after studying the previous records of voting pattern will suggest the ways to improve polling percentage.
