The Election Commission teams have seized 28 crore 39 lakh rupees in cash and about 5.50 crores in kind so far, in poll bound Tamil Nadu. The Commission has set up, specially made election expenditure monitoring teams to keep a watch on the use of money power in the current round of assembly elections. According to Commission sources, the teams have seized about five crore rupees in West Bengal and four crore rupees in Assam till yesterday.
