<span style="color: #222222;">A high-level team of the Election Commission of India visited Gujarat and reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A five-member team headed by Deputy Election Commissioner Hirdesh Kumar was on a two-day visit to the state. During the visit, the team members held a meeting with State Election Commissioner P Bharati and reviewed the work on the special voter's list rectification programme.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The team also held a meeting with all the District Election officers and took stock of the preparation in each Lok Sabha constituency in the State. The team also discussed various issues including the registration of new voters, inclusion of PWD and third-gender voters, EVM checking, and setting up necessary facilities at the polling stations.</span><br />
